  Absoloute Flooring have taken my money $1890 in total and have not even provided the materials or done the job, will not return my messages or phone calls. I moved all my furniture out of my downstairs area to have the floors prep'd and completed weeks later still living with no furniture downstairs as I cannot afford to engage another tradesman to do the work. I have been lied to on multiple occasions about the work being done and it never happens. I am having to involve the police and lodge a civil suit against him as he wont give me my money back. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - It has been a nightmare from the word go, missed appointments, they never respond to calls or emails, did a very bad job of laying vinyl planks, the layer stopped halfway through and refused to finish the job unless I paid him immediately in cash. Have been waiting very patiently for 8 months for them to come and try to fix shoddy workmanship and do the scotia. The layer has made several appointments but never arrives, no apology or explanation for not turning up. Their guarantees mean nothing. They have no fixed address and don't answer phone. They insist on being paid upfront so you have no redress. You must pay for the product first and then pay the layer, before the job is even finished, this is their modus operandi. Absolute Flooring, Absolute Disaster This is the worst experience I have ever had on the Gold Coast. Barrett (whose company it is) takes no responsibility for anything. Our next step is small claims court. Now March 2016 and I have had to find people to come and repair their shocking job as Barrett never did turn up with the scotia. Hope he's gone bankrupt by now - must be trading while insolvent, DISGUSTING !

  !!!WARNING - WARNING - WARNING!!! I did few jobs as an installer for Absolute flooring, I did my job to 100% satisfaction of the customer, but as with the reviews above, decides when he wants to be contacted, and when he doesn't. Absolute flooring owes me a few thousand dollars and hides at his home in Chevron Island for anyone interested. I know of at least 3 other layers he owes money to. CUSTOMERS BE WARNED, ABSOLUTE FLOORING ARE RUNNING AN INSOLVENT BUSINESS - SENT THEMSELVES BANKRUPT BUT STILL ACCEPT CUSTOMERS JOBS - DO NOT DEAL WITH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

  Absolute Flooring was the best price and best service that I found on the Gold Coast I have been a builder for over 20 years and found there professional attitude and experience in the flooring industry second to none. There products were also the best I could find on the market when I compared them to other flooring stores. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone that is looking to purchase flooring with no fuss.

  NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! I am extremely disappointed with he work and people who did timber flooring at our house. If I could, I'd give no stars. After trying to contact them for 3 months our floor is terrible...we could have done a better job ourselves. There are cracks in 3 different places, underlay missing in the kitchen, about 1/2 a meter of flooring is lifted and they just tried to hide all the mistakes with putty. There are holes in our wall where they tried to take the skirting off. In the lined cupboard they just cut some random sized boards and placed the in there just sitting and can be lifted up. The scotia joins are not straight and just puttied. Worst of all they will not fix the problems and keep telling me to contact my installer which was arranged by absolute flooring. Do yourself a favour and stear clear.
