  This HAS to be one of the most convenient airport in the entire country! I know airports quite well having travelled extensively via several airports; both in transit and at arrival/departure points. Prior to that I have worked at the domestic/international airport at one of Asia's major cities. It may not have the fancy duty free shops to rival Changi or Dubai or Schipol or elsewhere but that's not a big issue. It has pretty much everything you need from a good airport. In close proximity to the city, it is easily accessible from almost anywhere. Unlike the Sydney and Perth airports you don't have to get on a bus and go through public thoroughfare when transferring from the domestic terminal to the international terminal (one boasts of hosting an Olympic Games and the other is the "gateway to the West" - both are SHOCKERS!).

  Good small airport with a good selection of shops inside with a good number of different food vendors and let's not forget the ale house. The layout is good and simple making it easy to find your way around. Trips through security were quick and painless (as long as you follow instructions). Signage is good and facilities for disabled are great.

  I've flown many times both on my own and with family, from and to Adelaide Airport. The ground staff and all flight crews at QANTAS, have always shown me respect, courtesy, and been helpful, especially so when I've had to use my wheelchair and transfer to any of theirs. Everyone smiles and that is a reflection of who they are as individuals, and a reflection of the company as a whole. Adelaide Airport has become a modern airport in every sense, plenty of Food outlets, Assorted shops, plenty of Disabled Parking, even Tesla charging stations in the modern multi-level carpark. Long term car parking is also very reasonable. Carpark help is as close as the press of a button at the pay booths, or by phone to help with any situation. The Adelaide Airport upgrade several years ago has brought us in line with other capital cities worldwide.The Adelaide Metro buses, Other private bus companies, and taxis all connect with the airport. When I travelled with my adventurous Burmese x Russian Blue cat, the service to have him on my flight in cargo was strictly monitored and processed, and ALWAYS had my animal's welfare needs , as their highest priority.

  I never really appreciated Adelaide airport until I moved to the East Coast. They've done a great job of keeping it modern - though frequent flyers used to the business lounges in Sydney and Melbourne may be a little disappointed at what the lounges have to offer here. Strangely enough there is no McDonald's present, but a solid assortment of cafe's, restaurants and the Cooper's alehouse more than make up for it. Most importantly, it's always clean, polished and presentable.

  Beautiful modern airport with lots of amenities. Easy access to CBD by bus. The architecture is beautiful inside and outside the terminal building. The staffs are friendly. There is even a nice children's playground in the departure waiting area. Lots is seats in the waiting area. Ample choice for food, drinks and souvenirs. Special rooms for changing diapers.
