::My experience was that I was interested in a particular Kia SUV and I initially found the sales rep to be friendly etc so a purchase by cash was made for over $30k. Promises were given with regards to the 7 year factory warranty however several weeks later AFTER the purchase I encountered issues with getting the warranty activated which also came with free RAC roadside assist. The issue was a fault on the dealer who hadn't registered the vehicle properly and Kia Australia were putting me back and forth to them to get the issue fixed. Another issue with the warranty activation was that the car hadn't yet has its proper 1st service and thus wasn't showing in the 'system'!! Anyhow a few months later it finally got activated. That's the first issue resolved.. The 2nd issue was more down to the spiteful and arrogant attitude of the dealership owner Greg. When I had a paint issue 6 months ago I took the car in to see about getting something done under warranty. I was told by the service manager that he'd get back to me. No calls returned after several attempts. Eventually I asked to speak to Greg as I was running out of patience. He was very rude with me and refused point blank to help with the paint issue because 'I hadn't spent enough money with Albany Kia'! I stated that I bought a new car and spent a lot of money. His response was he couldn't care less and hung up. I was furious. Since then I have gone to Perth Kia dealers as frankly the customer service is a disgrace at Albany Autos, Western Australia.
