  The pedantic system which won't allow online check-in, combined with the acknowledged understaffed service desk when all train services were shafted to buses, caused a wait of more than half an hour to get a simple printed ticket. Catch up to the 21st century and enable online check-in or privatise the service so a proper business can operate competitively. Disgusted.

  Looking forward to my first class travel on the V-Line train from Albury to Melbourne only to find out it's cancelled and we have to take a bus... Good god!

  I highly suggest if you are booking tickets at the Albury station, you check ticketing prices before you do so otherwise they might try to take advantage of you like they did to me today. I went to book a ticket from Albury to Melbourne under a child's concession (5 to 18) and the lady who served me was very rude and cut me off telling me anyone over 17 has to pay full fare. I tried to explain to her that I always do this trip and I usually book my ticket over the phone and they only ever charge me $18.80 but she once again rudely cut me off saying I had to pay full fare. Her customer service was appalling. I think I will just to stick buying my tickets over the phone or online.
