::Despite the it being Saturday Night . Despite being a lovely warm night . Despite the Website and the door showing the restaurant closed at 9:30. At 9:10 they would could not be bothered making a small pizza to take away. They said they were closing up because they didn't have any customers in sitting in the restaurant. No surprise!

::It was a hot muggy night and irresistible aromas of garlic could be smelt cooking here. There was a sign out the front with a special of a small pizza and wine for $15 so we seated ourselves and waited for service. It was hard to tell whether it was hotter in our outside with minimal cooling in the restaurant with it's open kitchen pumping heat. Finally a waitress arrived who advised the sign out the front was only for lunch. The waitress didn't return to take our order so I ordered from the counter. The pizza arrived quickly and was ok. Being so close to the beach it would have been nice if the aircon was effective but it wasn't. We left the moment we finished eating to escape back into the 36°c heat.

::Went for breakfast with my wife. Place looks nice and airy...service a bit slow. Ordered a simple eggs on toast with an extra 'Italian' sausage - the sausage presented to me was about as Italian as a no name brand sausage from the local supermarket. Will try somewhere else next time.

::High ceiling, relaxing quiet atmosphere I like that its quiet which encourages conversation unlike most restaurants that have usual loud music We ordered slow cooked pork belly. Great presentation. Moist right to the bone! it was delicious, crackling crispy & hint of sweet apple relish complimented this dish Warmed olives & ciabatta soaked up the delightful sauce of the grilled scallops perfectly cooked. The Lombardia pizza was a real treat & unique combination. We will return to try other cuisine next time.
