  The dismal service was eclipsed only by the extreme incompetence. A clear example of what Australians hate about the big banks. The employees (all middle-aged men) were more interested in whispering & elbowing each other about a pretty girl standing on the footpath out front than in helping the growing queue of customers who had come in on their lunch breaks. I went in to provide ID verification for a credit card application. It took over 45 minutes, only to find out they didn't enter it properly & I will need to return to the branch for 're-verification'. I'd rather have a root canal. I tried calling several times (14 according to my records) to sort out the problem, but there was never an answer. The only positive was the security guard (a contractor from Wilson) who recognised the incompetence of the bank staff and did his best to steer customers in the right direction.

  small ANZ branch on Errol Street shopping strip This branch has an ATM out front, a couple of teller counters and an area to sit and talk to manager. Doesn't get too busy and staff are quite helpful. If driving there its not hard top park on the street (one hour paid parking usually readily available)
