  We've had quiet a few birthday party's there 4 teenagers we will b going back we also eat there every 3 months will b going back 4 sure highly recommend very accommodating but we avnt stayed there also Sunday roasts I hear a a big hit as we drive past the car park over filled & very booked out

  Has good pub feed type of menu. Has a kids area also for when they get bored while you talk with friends. Great place.

  Somebody else already said it don't let the old school exterior put you off. This place was a pleasant surprise. Rooms have clearly been refurbished and could match the creature comforts of the grand chancellor that we stayed in. Rooms are clean spacious and modern. Of all the places we stayed while in Tasmania the Argosy Would deffinately be the best stay we had and we would deffinately stay here again while in Devonport

  Was getting late by the time we arrived in Devonport, driving around looking for somewhere to stay we came across the Argosy, definitely wasn't disappointed in their renovated room. A view of the river off your private balcony, clean well maintained rooms and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back

  Spacious dining room with extensive range of dishes. Enjoyed the Sunday roast with included dessert. Views over River Mersey. Free parking at rear.
