::I had my son at Ashford hospital in December 2016 and it was horrible from beginning to end. I was induced and when the contractions started and i was in pain and making noise a midwive came in and snarked at me to try shower and walked out. This was just the start of the callous incompetence of maternity staff at Ashford. They had no interest in supporting my birth plan other than drug me up and lie me on bed. Ended up with c section . They let a birth photographer into my room minutes after i left recovery with fresh vomit in my hair. They hassled me to put my baby in nursery then woke me up saying he was hungry and needed formula. Left me bleeding on the floor when i tried to have shower and cathether fell out . Said hubby would get bed but only had recliner. Liars and charlatans . Even had to report the pediatrician i was allocated to ahpra for saying my still breastfed 16 month old would always need formula. Never AGAIN

::My husband was in for shoulder replacement. Very dissatisfied with the care he recieved, i came to visit, i had to care for him, he was left to manage to try to feed himself, which he couldn't open the containers of food, he had only just had elbow replacement surgery so he couldn't get in out of bed properly, nil assistance was offered at any time. On doctors orders medication was supposed to be given to him when required sometimes he had to wait for up to an hour and a half. Just not good enough !!

::Could not be happier with my Knee replacement at the Ashford. The Drs & Nursing staff are to be commended for their professional approach and their attention to my needs. I have no hesitation in getting my other Knee done at Ashford as soon as it can be arranged.

::I had my baby in 2014 and the staff are amazing. Very attentive. Would highly recommend their maternity ward. Even after you leave the hospital with bubs, they have a clinic where you can bring your baby for visits with a midwife to ensure everything is going away. Excellent service for new mums.
