::Booked a massage and mani for my fiancee for the day we got engaged. Informed the staff twice during the booking process that she's allergic to lavender. My fiancee also informed them of this when she arrived. They took her directly to a room with a lavender diffuser. Apparently, once they were finished trying to stop my fiancee's breathing, the rest of it was okay.

::Enjoyed a blissful 3 hours of pampering at The Bamboo Day Spa for a Birthday treat. Jeanette welcomed me and I was shown through to the tastefully decorated and tranquil 'waiting room' upstairs. Soon after the treatments began, a foot bath and reflexology, warm oil head massage, and the most amazing hot stone massage. Arigató to Nayu for your fantastic technique and friendly professional nature. It was a pleasure to meet you and I'm already planning my return :) Highly recommend.

::Worst experience ever! I booked in for an one hour infrared sauna session, at arrival I was greeted by a young girl who asked me to head up stairs. She then showed me the infrared sauna which was outside of all the treatment rooms along the walk way. She then showed me one towel next to some old magazines and directed me to the bathroom across the sauna. I had to ask her for a robe and a small towel and she joked saying "no one has ever asked me that before!" I got changed and put on the robe and left my personal belongings and clothes in the bathroom. The sauna floor was dirty and possibly covered in mould. After entering the sauna I realised the mesh material gave me no privacy so I had to cover the window with the robe I asked for. A few times during the session, people (a man and a woman) walked around outside the sauna talking loudly in Japanese, lucky I had the robe to cover the window! When I decided one hour was getting a bit too hot, I quickly wrapped myself up then I realised someone had removed my personal belongings and clothes from the bathroom and placed them outside of the sauna and someone was now in the bathroom having a shower! When the other lady finally came out of the shower I was left with a wet bathroom! I got dressed in the wet bathroom- as I had no other option, the one hour session included a shower but I didn't have another towel. I headed down stairs and told three staff members what had happened, they made every excuse under the sun and told me it never happens. Then the young girl charged me $35 dollars and asked me if I wanted the receipt. NO THANK YOU! Seriously, this is beyond a joke. How can you be promoting holistic health and call yourself a "Wellness and Beauty Sanctuary" with this poor level of service? Not only the service was bad but the sauna was filthy and needed cleaning. How can a place like this still operate as a business?
