I don't know how to rate this place. The food was reasonably priced and delicious, and the owner seemed really lovely with good customer service. So my experience was coming here for the first time with my partner to try it out, the lady who served me was a very young girl, she looked absolutely MISERABLE. I don't mean she looked neutral, she looked like she hated her life, hated us, everyone, and working there. My boyfriend and I were super bubbly and I didn't know what size to get I looked at him and asked and he said whatever I want, I said large, so i turned around and faced her and she goes "so what do you want?" with an attitude, I was stillt rying to be nice regardless. I then asked for 2 curries with my rice in my large, but I asked for the tiniest bit of one and heaps of the other (instead of half and half), and she gives me half and half. I felt awkward and then had to ask her to give me more of another as I really didn't want much of the other... She didn't apologise. The rice had orange stuff in it and I was curious what it was so I asked the girl "what type of rice is that?" and she looks at me blankly "the only type we have"... I was taken aback... I responded "... So what type is that?" I wouldn't mind if she just didn't know but she should ask someone or politely say she doesn't know and will find out. I still can't get past her response and have told plenty of people about her and everyone I've told has had a laugh at how bad that is. The owner seemed to notice my boyfriend and I being displeased with our service and went out of his way to make us happy (setting up our table for us and serving us at the til with a lovely smile) Pros: Great customer service from the owner Good price Great food Cons: Horrible young girl working there, she possibly isn't treated well there or was having a bad day but if it's the later then you need to get your act together, it's customer service. You don't take it out on the customer and leave behind your bad day. I don't mind when people serve me with neutral expressions, but she was rude, arrogant, talked back, attitude, and seemingly miserable. It does discourage me from returning but honestly not enough to not return because I did really enjoy that food. Also a tiny bit too much garlic on the garlic naans, but you can pick it off :) Food: 4/5 Service: 2.5/5 (girl was 1, but manager 5) Price/Value: 4/5 Overall: 3.5/5

Best tasting Indian in Newcastle area, no contest. Definitely recommend their fresh cheese or combination naans, they are unbeatable. Something for everyone here whether you like your curries spicy or mild, vegetarian or with generous servings of meat.

Good food fast with nothing fancy. I have visited India a number of times and this place gets the food right. Option to eat in or takeaway and very friendly people. It is worth a drive to Warners Bay to eat this food.

Service above and beyond. Ordered home delivery using MenuLog. Opened package and discovered one small entree was missing. After dinner, rang the restaurant to let them know, but didn't ask for compensation. Twenty minutes later and the entree was delivered! Exceptional service, totally unexpected.

Great for take away. Great tasting food and reasonable prices. The shop only has two or three tables and there is often a small wait on the food.
