  What a fantastic display of lights and fans and much more. If you can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist.Overheard a customer getting some great semi technical assistance too.

  Beacon have a great range of fans and lights, particularly because of their exclusive items. I like that the warranty period begins from the time that your lights/fans are installed, which provides great peace of mind for more expensive items which have been purchased well ahead of installation. I have received great service from most of the staff (I would have given one star rating if not for them) but there is one staff member who makes me feel unwelcome and that I am taking up his precious time. I am certainly not a time waster and we have spent around $5000 in fans and extension arms. I have stopped going to Beacon altogether because I simply don't want to encounter this staff member, I feel for his colleagues, working with such an abrasive person isn't nice . I work in sales and customer service myself, I know it isn't always easy to be happy and upbeat but it's not that hard either to provide customer service with a smile, even if you don't really mean it. I go to Lighthouse Cairns now, they know my name and are always super helpful and friendly.
