  Clean functional place with great service. Mish on the front desk is gorgeous gorgeous and very helpful.

  Clean and fresh cabin at a reasonable price. Stayed 4 night including 2 of the wettest nights ever as the whole Newcastle & Hunter region got drenched with heavy rains which needless to say damped our stay. It’s totally self catering but there’s cooking facilities, microwave oven, fridge etc in cabin plus plates and stuff so we sorted ourselves out pretty ok. Plus it’s only a few minutes walk (or drive when it’s belting down) down to the Belmont shopping area with a Coles & Woolies, bread shop, fish shop etc, Dominos, plus Indian, Italian, Thai, Chinese (Ocean City was really good) and the lake is virtually across the road. Also around is a Maccas and KFC and Aldi. On the lake front down toward the shopping centre is a cafe called Common Circus which is trying hard to be hip but is perfect for that all important double jolt. Didn’t use the pool cause of the weather but it looked ok. Staff were fine, manager was actually pretty helpful when we asked for a couple of extra towels because of the wet weather and a blanket as my wife was cold, he sorted it out for us with no fuss. Only negative was the wifi was a little weak and dropped out a couple of times but that might have been the weather. All in all we’d recommend.

  Severely underwhelming accommodation, only real bed was a double bed and the rest were a couch and some terribly uncomfortable bunk beds. The area to park the car was so small that the front of the car went over the poorly poured cement and caused the car to dip and scrape on the cement, and the sides of the car were basically dragging across the thin alley provided for parking. The only room in the cabin with aircon was also the only cabin without a bed, if a comfortable nights sleep is your goal and its anywhere near summer be prepared to lament your airconditioning void room or sleep on the couch in stead of the one made bed.

  The cabins are nothing like the photos. Very disappointed. Then to top it off our oven doesn't work! So far management have offered not mych in the way of compensation. On a positive note close to the beautiful lake and the pool is nice.

  Stayed in Spa Cabin Jan 2018 with family. Did not look like any of the nice pictures on website. Had to make kids beds on arrival. Walls were covered in stains. Very dusty. Ants galore. Shower was a dribble. We had to keep windows closed because smokers were in the next cabin smoking on the little verandah, morning and night. Only positive was good location.
