  The recent refurbishment has really improved what was already a fantastic date location. The cinemas are intimate and comfy, there's heaps of food options and it's much cheaper than gold class. Really like what Blue room is doing and it gives me hope that small cinemas can compete with the big guys.

  Loved this place! Went for the premiere of "I Feel Pretty". They had a photo booth, red carpet and free ice-cream! Love the vibes of food straight to your chair during the movie. Comfy seats with little tables and footrests (if you are quick enough to get one!). Only lost a star because it is a little expensive for ticket + food + drinks. But it is a great place for the odd night out! 🥂

  Blue Room is my favourite cinema. My partner and I really enjoy relaxing and watching a movie in the comfier seats and poofs. Bargain prices at certain times like Mondays and during the day. Regular viewing times are more than fine too. However, we did buy a cocktail once (an Aviation) that was undrinkable because of the overwhelming sweetness. We were next to the bar when it was made and heard another bartender say it wasn't right and too sweet, but served to us the same regardless. Disappointing, but we had a movie to catch and copped it. So, we're never buying a cocktail again, but the food and normal drinks are pretty good.

  We have been regular patrons of Blue Room Cinebar and have always enjoyed ourselves. But our latest experience, on Thursday night, has been a standout. It was our first visit since the recent further renovations and extensions, taking over the previous coffee shop that used to be outside the Blue Room. And this has really added some ambiance to the Blue Room. This has now become a one-stop outing. So much to choose from in terms of food and drinks. And this time we used the Blue Room app to book our movie, food and drinks. We took advantage of the $22.50 dinner and an after 8pm movie. And it was also happy hour from 7.30pm - 8.30pm. The meal was delicious - no scrimping, and after our meal we wandered into the movie (no queues) and our drinks were delivered exactly to our instructions we left through their app. A fuss free enjoyable evening. Here is the icing on the cake, the sprinkles, the part where it makes the night even more special. Because the staff are not caught up processing tickets and sorting out meals and drinks for delivery in the movie, they were actually able to stop and interact with the customers. Actually provide excellent customer service. And this is what would now make us choose Blue Room over any other cinema in Brisbane. Kelly, bar manager, was our icing on the cake, the sprinkles, the person that made our night so much more than just dinner, drinks and a movie. Kelly was incredibly welcoming and very proud and excited to be the recently appointed bar manager. Her enthusiasm for her job and for looking after her customers was so evident and thoroughly appreciated. For us, this was an exceptional night out and we look forward to many many more.

  Absolutely loved my experience here! The movie was great and the facilities were stunningly beautiful. There are pillows and footrest's for comfort, and the plush seat backs recline for ultimate relaxation. One of the best Cinemas I've ever been to. The gorgeous Art Deco interior design takes you back to another era! I'll definitely be back again!!! Highly recommend!!!
