  Great location & ocean views and good bbq area unfortunately appartment furniture outdated and found the pool was not heated as advertised which was quiet disappointing when weather was overcast throughout our stay - this was reported to management but was not fixed during our stay.

  We have stayed here twice now for 3 months in total. Yes there is construction at Jewel but it is really not that bad. No noise after 5pm nor before 7am. Most days we are out anyway. We used the pool quite a few times though and the construction didn’t bother us at all. What’s most important is the staff are super friendly and very easy to deal with. The facilities are great at the price with direct access to the beach which is quite rare. Tennis courts sauna and spa top it off, not to mention excellent and clean BBQ facilities. I hate it when people get on their high horse and become super critical and drop whinging reviews which are nothing to do with the actual property. Get a life and think about what your crappy review does to hard working people and a great business trying to do its best.

  Dreadful. Don't stay here until construction finishes in 2018. A family beach side weekend away turned into either leaving the property or staying inside. We had to close all the doors and windows because of the massive three buildings construction site next door (Jewel), which was continually pumping concrete, drilling, metal grinding 6 days a week from 6.30am! The pool is between the buildings and also very noisey. Location is poor, you have to drive to all the shops/restaurants. Half way between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.

  Breakers North was great. I booked quite a while ago for a family wedding. We had 2 apartments side by side and then family friends had another 3. Everything was perfect. The apartments were great and we were all able to socialise. We also took wonderful photos on the wedding day. Thank you so much Breakers North!!

  This hotel has approximately 50% of rooms with their balconies facing a neighbouring construction 'Jewel Residences'. Our review reflects our utter dismay and the level of 'duping' by hotel management who we spoke to BEFORE booking and especially mentioned we were looking for a quiet family break for three adults bereaving for a passed family member. There was no mention in our conversation of any construction noise and in fact we were encouraged to book over the phone...could this be so we didn't see the fine print on the web site. Since our experience we reviewed the web site and it says there MAY be some construction noise. Disgraceful and misrepresentation of what is occurring right now. Don't bother responding with information that you refunded our money for 5 nights (we moved on) and or that we were moved for 2 of the 7 night stays...all of this only happened because we insisted! We trusted you and you should have let us know..it's the law!
