  Some of the young staff there (especially the women) do not seem to know the name most basic items such as mastic! I asked three of them and they all looked blank faced at me, however in striking contrast......Lana who is on the trade desk is an absolute legend and knows way more than I do! She should be given the job to train the younger staff then the service would start to edge towards the standards i am used to at the East Vic Park store!

  I really only use this place for convenience sake, however I get better service, price and what I'm actually looking for elsewhere. Was left standing around for 20 minutes waiting for some help. Was ignored by staff too busy doing what ever to help. Stood in a conspicuous spot in the central thurough fare at the end of the aisle. In exasperation l found a piece of cardboard and wrote a curt note to place with my abandoned basket of goods that I'll now buy elsewhere. On leaving the note, a staff member finally appeared, only to find the critical thing required is only available in 1m or 6m lengths. This has followed shoddy service recieved by my wife on a previous occasion. Strike two Bunnings, but I don't feel like banging my head waiting for strike three. You're out.

  Went to the trade desk today and I was blown away by the service and advice. Although two of the people were going on break, nothing was too hard for them and I left feeling well looked after. well done trade desk!

  I like Bunnings... :) .... and always enjoy a visit there. However, it is getting harder & harder to find staff when needed. I've had to ask for a staff member to be paged on the last 2 occasions. The staff I've dealt with are very helpful and knowledgeable.

  Good variety of hardware, some members of the staff could be a bit more helpful. But overall most things are okay. Some of merchandise is a bit pricey.
