Was told at 3.30pm yesterday they only serve soup before 5.00pm. Have had many meals there before this time. Not sure what was going on.

The place needs renovation but the food is definitely five stars and makes up for it! Great prices for both qaulity and quantity!

Waited almost 25 minutes for our first course, which wasn't what we ordered, then gave up after waiting another half hour for our main course. We walked in shortly after 5pm and there were only four other people in the place.

I have been going to Cafe China for years and of late, every time I go, I have been completely disappointed with the food produced. Bland Char Kwei Tao, tough tasteless BBQ pork that the cook insists on removing all of the juices from the outside, insipid stock for the wanton soup. The only reason I return is because I keep thinking that maybe you will pick up your game - and because the parking is slightly better than the Casino based Cafe China. No more. Too many better options for me.

We ordered the Malacca Curry Wagyu Beef (Spicy) w/ Rice, Roast Kitchen (Duck and Crispy Pork) and the Pan Fried Kim Chi & Pork Gyoza. Let's start with the good... The duck with the roast kitchen was good, as was the crispy pork. Only downside was that they could have been more generous with the sauce. Now for the rest... The picture for the malacca curry made the dish look rich and yummy. What I got looked like a bowl of Satay Sauce and was completely void of any level of spice. Was okay but not what I thought I was ordering. As for the gyoza... would have been nice if they actually touched a hot pan. What we got were steamed. All in all...we will NOT be back to this location.
