  Super fresh felafel straight outta the pan. Pickles are deliciously sweet/savory, without the bitterness of the cheap alternative. Delicious hibiscus drink, reminiscent of sour cherry. Friendly crew, really accommodating with requests for the accompanying 4yo.

  Nice vibe and interesting decor, surprisingly comfortable milk crate. Took over 45 mins from when we ordered to get our food. Even when we reminded one waitress, it still took another 10-15 minutes. When the food arrived, my lamb kebab was burnt. My friend’s felafel was reportedly burnt and dry. The bread was nice. Price was relatively expensive. I was still hungry after ordering the lamb kebab plate and eating everything thing on it. When I can get better food for half the price in a quarter of the time I probably won’t be coming back. Particularly disappointed with the slow service given the place is called Cairo Takeaway.

  I think this place just has to tidy a few service loose ends to make it five stars. Despite an awesome menu and delicious food, it’s let down by the laid back service including having to get your own cutlery, water and disengaged staff when presenting the food. Nevertheless, the mixed grill will make you MOIST! It’s a great addition to the inner west and i welcome it with open, felafel arms!

  Absolutely delicious and authentic... I have been there 4 times already and this place has been consistently great... I have found some yummy plates that you can't find anywhere else... The service is also great and speedy. A+
