::Good stock, knowledgeable salespeople. However they could work on their customer relations, can be rude at times. I like to support local businesses and will continue to give them lots of chances to redeem themselves.

::The Camera House chain can be a bit of a let down in most places. The Darwin CBD store is a major exception. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and they have a huge range of stock. I've never walked in looking for something and walked away without it. I would highly recommend.

::Inspired me to shop elsewhere. I specificaly went in to look for a Tokina lens, or really any wide angle landscape lens without an inbuilt hood as i use Nisi filters. The girls seemed to lazy to move from behind the counter making the customer relay back and forth price requests. The pricing was also not competitive. First i was quoted a new price on a used item then again a second time 10 mins later was told a price $300 less. Towards the end of the experience they asked if i wanted a Tokina lens. Yes thats right, the very lens brand i asked for 20 mins prior.

::Great work by both the lady's in the shop on the weekend. Very helpful and knew her stuff about cameras. They were happy to spend the time with me and make sure i had what i was looking for. Would highly recommend just on there customer service alone. Very happy customer.

::What an amazingly good shop! I called in briefly today, to see if the 500 and 600mm lenses in the window were available for hire - only for regulars, unfortunately - and then I had a wander around the shop. Seriously good bags, seriously good tripods and tripod heads, seriously good flashes, seriously good cameras and lenses. Seriously good everything. And (I must say this given what others have said here) the owner struck me as extremely friendly and helpful.
