  I couldn’t help but smile with delight when I walked into this establishment! This is how a Tavern/Hotel should look! Good sized, quality bars with plenty of open area around them with seating capacity to spare. Restaurant was a nicely relaxing experience with the food and drinks delivered to table with a smoothness of service I haven’t experienced for awhile. Steak was nicely rare and my partners seafood perfect. Room was more ‘quaint ‘ than old, but the experience of staying in a basic tavern room instead of a 5 star plush hotel was very pleasant indeed. I’ll have to stay here again👍

  Normal price for pub burger but definitely lacking in quality.. happy to pay that price for good quality like some other places do. Would not recommend.

  Cap S is a great traditional pub serving great food and with a decent selection of beers on tap. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. There's even a restaurant here if you're after an experience a bit classier. The function areas are also excellent and quite spacious

  Very clean and really friendly helpful staff. It's a little bit noisy but it's a pub! They are all noisy! Enjoyed my stay in the lovely old rooms

  Good, cheap accommodation close to Perth and Fremantle. Staff are friendly and customers are well looked after. The room I stayed in could use some work though. Very dark and dingy. Lighting in the bathroom made it near impossible to shower at night. Might also be nice to allow guests to opt out of daily towels? I was in a double so was getting 2 lots of everything every day. I would have been quite happy to hang my towel to dry each day :) Overall, great experience. Would definitely stay again (with my own light source!).
