  I shop here regularly and always friendly customer service and often cheaper specials than woolies bottleshop.

  I live across the road, I would never recommend this bottle store, I have turned up before the closing hours a few times to find the shop shut. When you go there prices are wrong on the shelves, the staff are too concerned chatting with security to be bothered to offer assistance and products in the cool storage are never topped up and more than likely empty. I went to purchase a bottle of wine, all the specials were empty, ( Not unusual ) the prices were not correct or unavailable, NO customers were in store but the shop assistant didn't care to offer service, My enquires and my issues where not heard, only to get a reply that the assistant had nothing to do with the prices and that had nothing to do with my enquiry, so I go to the shop fridges to buy product to find half empty 4 packs and went digging to find a full one, (not unusual) No one In this store actually even cares, why do I have to get in a car and drive elsewhere to get the products I want when they are and should be available across the road and only if you beg for service when no one is in the store? ( Waiting not to interrupt the most amazing conversation trying not to be rude!) In the end I will 100% go anywhere else and recommend other stores when there is one across the road, why because after 3 years ( the store may not have been reopened this long due to renovations) I've actually had enough and wonder why I even go there any more. Try it and have the guts to take this email and test if the customer service is exactly what I have said it is! - If there was a NO star rating then I would give this a Darwin Award! Minus 5 and counting! - what am I groaning about you ask? When NO customer is in the store, the products are Ill priced or unavailable, when there is NO service but a cash attendant ( which you may as well talk to a Vending machine ) NO special products available because no one cares to refull the fridges, Crap products that are damaged or incomplete and a security guard and store person looking at you like you are moaning about spending money that interrupts their conversation then ask yourself when you get there, why the F#€k am I going back? - Then my work is done!

  So disappointed to find when we arrived that our favourite outdoor bar which had so much atmosphere and character is gone. Very sad, Darwin just isn't the same for us without it now.

  After living up in Darwin and having the old Lizards as my local pub for many years, the new revamped establishment is a mockery of everything that I held dear about this pub. It lacks the huge outdoor area, big screen for the main sports events and the great live music. The atmosphere this place held was seconded to none by anywhere else on Mitchel st, now it is just another cut copy hotel that is the same you'd find anywhere else in Australia. Bring back the old pub this place lacks character and is a disappointment. (Food was great, tip my hat to the chef)
