  They are a well stocked bike shop in the CBD. The guys are generally friendly, happy to have a chat about bike stuff, and sell you stuff at normal retail prices. They do have the occasional sale, so look out for that as you can get pretty reasonable deals (got some Capo gear on sale and it was pretty good quality at a decent price). I think they treat most customers quite well, they tend not to ignore people in store, and are happy to let you try stuff on and give you advice. If I want to get some Bontrager gear, I would come back here. If I had the money, I might even get a Parlee from them (stuff of dreams).

  Every time I visit Sydney I have to call in and have a look at Clarence st Cyclery and every damn time I walk out with a purchase. Today was no different. Walked in and they were flat out. One of the staff quickly approached me and not only was he informative, but directed me to the perfect set of new shiny carbon wheels that have been on my wish list for a while. So, yep. They are now mine. A massive thanks to Naz and the team who always go above and beyond. Best bike shop in Sydney by far.

  Went in with a clear idea on the type of road bike I was looking for and the budget I had. I was willing to buy a bike on the spot. One old guy showed me a couple of bikes, said 'just hang on' and then walked off, left me standing in the shop and didn't return. Amazon offers better customer service.

  Strictly for rich men who wear lycra. I watched a young woman ask for a little advice on how to make a minor adjustment to a rubbing brake, not sure if the clerk had never had to speak to a female before or whether he just didn't approve of women riding bikes but he was pretty unfriendly, she was told to come back in a week and book in her bike for a full service. I was able to fix it for her in about 2 minutes outside. This is not how you support cycling guys. Might be good to employ at least one female mechanic too.
