  Clean, Good Prices. It has all the basic stuff and a friendly staff. There is a nice bakery two doors down!

  Ce coles express propose assez peu de choses et à des prix plutôt prohibitifs... Seul le carburant y est à un prix décent.

  This Shell petrol station has 95 octane fuel, which is surprisingly not present in the other Shell stations in the area. The entrance and exit are just after a main traffic junction, which means that there is potentially a higher risk of an accident , as people slow down to enter the petrol station. There are a total of 8 pumps. The queue for fuel usually builds up during the evenings during the rush hour, or at the start/end of the weekend. Prices are the usual rip off for Cairns, and they are slightly more expensive the the Caltex options. The Coles Express itself is clean and well lighted, with friendly staff. Not a bad place for grabbing a quick (but rather unhealthy) snack, and any simple groceries like milk. Haven't tried the toilets yet so I cannot comment. There is the usual facility to inflate your vehicle tyres to the correct pressure. Do watch out for wandering passers-by using the station forecourt as a shortcut - I almost knocked one down once, in the night!
