  The 'fresh' produce at Coles Lutwyche is the worst I've ever encountered at a supermarket - the same goes for the bakery section. Perhaps this is more the fault of the atmosphere of the place - it's terribly dark and not easy to navigate. It rarely feels clean and just has an unwelcoming feel. I hope this Coles will be getting a facelift along with Lutwyche City in general. The redeeming aspect to this store is the variety of international foods available - it really reflects the multiculturalism of Brisbane.

  I have no problem with the shop itself. Staff are friendly, always stocked, lots of parking, very casual place (which is good these days). I probably wouldn’t want to change a thing. Except........... for the hawkers centre management has rented space to directly outside the store. Sometimes I go to the shop 3 times a day and I am harassed on my way in and out, so that’s 6 times a day. If they even think for a second they have you engaged they swoop on you, but if you ignore them you can hear whispers behind your back. Each one never lasts long, so I don’t know if they are aware regular shoppers have been avoiding stalls every day, day in day out. You basically cannot enter coles without being harassed.

  Don't stock any Strawberry Ice Cream at all anymore ??? Sara Lee range has been cut right back to make room for Coles Generic. No Strawberry Cheesecake . Connoisseur - 4 varieties of Chocolate product - BUT - No Strawberry stocked anymore. Coles Generic range - No Strawberry product. What have Coles Lutwyche got against Strawberry???

  Coles lutwych. Horrible supermarket. I've checked same shelves for over a week for restocking of Hans strass and couple of other items. Still nothing. Carry hardly any brands except their own brand. No heinz frozen products are sold. Their fruit and veg is often poor quality

  Hours and variety are good. Needs better bags. Their reusable bags are still made of plastic, what about natural fibres or recyclable? They used to have hessian bags as an option.
