  The owner of this hotel Kristyn was incredibly rude to us and left multiple passive aggressive voicemails on my phone as well as an unnecessary letter telling us the state the room was left in was unacceptable when we were in the middle of our stay. We only left clothes on the floor because we were in a rush and last time i checked it didn't matter what state your room was in while you are staying there as long as you left it clean and tidy at checkout. I felt like i was back at school camp undergoing a room inspection! No one deserves to be treated like that. At checkout she was so rude and unhelpful it border lined insulting. We were also accused of stealing towels which is absolutely ridiculous as we definitely hadn't and why would we want dirty brown coloured motel towels? She was going to charge us for two towels a total of 70 somewhat dollars before i flat out refused because the towels had been taken from our room by housekeeping the morning beforehand and never replaced. I had to dry myself with a hand towel after my morning shower. I also haven't received my bond back from the room even though no damage had occurred. Do not stay here if you don't want to be ripped off and every single chance the owner of this hotel is a flat out nasty person who doesn't know how to run a business or keep a once good reputation that this motel used to have. Such a shame as i have stayed here for 5 years in a row and never had a problem but i wont be coming back.

  I've now stayed at the Comfort Inn Julie-Anna in September 2016 and 2017. The staff are wonderful, they are so friendly and accommodating. Each year, I've asked for a room with a spa bath. I don't get to enjoy a bath in the flat I rent so I make the most of bath in Bendigo twice a day. There's nothing so relaxing as a good soak in a warm bath. The restaurant associated with the motel is also very good. Breakfast and dinner dishes are very good. On this trip, I enjoyed the signature omelette for breakfast and had a wonderful crumbed steak dinner followed by a yummy ice cream sundae. I would highly recommend the Comfort Inn Julie-Anna if you're staying in Bendigo.
