Employees here are the worst with regards on how to communicate with the costumers! Such a shame how they will just command you and ask you to do the next steps in a rude way! I went there to have my nbi clearance done and that mister at the window whom I did my fingerprints with then just spoke to me in a rude way and said "lumabas ka , maghugas ka ng kamay mo dun sa toilet" and without even saying where will I go after. Come on! we are not in a palengke, it would not harm ayone if we talk in a nice, polite and a professional way.

Had a pleasant experience with the staff of Philippine Consulate in Sydney and it was worth our 4-hour drive to their branch. The old male staff from the ground floor reception was very pleasant and welcoming. He was very informative on the documents you have to bring with you before you take the lift. He even asked me to double check mine and he was very nice with my husband reminding him to take care of his Filipina wife. :) Whilst on the lift, I couldn't help but notice he was wearing a short-sleeved shirt (it looked old and have some stains) and wondered if the consulate pays him enough or even provide him a uniform. He's the first point of contact for the consulate and he's just wearing an old polo shirt and a pair of old looking pants. The process to report my marriage and renew my passport took more than 2 hours as the male staff from the 3rd window (left) didn't receive my payment prior to waiting to the waiting room for my digital photo. I was waiting in the waiting room for more than an hour before his senior officer, a female, approached me at the waiting area and asked if I was attended to. She took care of my documents herself and processed my payment for the fees. She was apologetic and very helpful. However, my husband and I would have saved an hour to drive 6-hours back to Midnorth coast if we were advised early on. We got home 8:45 pm instead of 6 pm due to the heavy traffic congestion. It would have been nice too if the Consulate have other payment method instead of paying cash. The website doesn't have this option and because their registry didn't have change and the male staff who attended my concern initially couldn't take the time off his window to find some change, my husband had to find a nearby shop to get cash out from my card. It was an inconvenience when we could readily pay via EFTPOS or credit card. I dislike giving bad reviews but this time it will be a neutral review since the male staff from the reception area was very pleasant to us.

Since January 2018 pa kami nagprocess ng renewal, May 2018 na wala pa din!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't answer calls, even if you will make a call your whole life. They don't answer emails! They are not reliable when it comes to their website. Requirements are not updated based on tje website. We travelled to Sydney for more than 10hours with our 3 little kids to renew my eldest's passport. Brought all the requirements stated in their website. They let us finished the processing, so we thought everything went smoothly only to recieve a call few days later telling us that we need to travel back to Sydney to have my daughter photo taken again! It was your fault why you didn't took her photo properly! They also want us to submit extra requirements! Well, it was your responsibility to update your website so people won't waste their time, money and effort and get everything prepared! You did't assessed the requirements properly when we were there! Sumbong ko kayo kay VP at Duterte, di nyo ginagawa ng maayos ang trabaho nyo. Do your job right para naman po makatulong kayo sa pag-unlad ng Pinas. By the way, unil now we haven't heard from you. We submitted all the extra requirements you were asking for, pero anong petsa na po? Since January 2018 pa kami nagprocess. Kumusta naman?

I would like to thank the exemplary commitment of the consulate staff that opened the office for limited time, even though it was a Philippine Public holiday Araw ng Kagitingan to cater all of us for urgent matters! Massive thanks.
