Great spot. Clean amenities. Close to the 'spirit of tasmania' if you need to catch it or like looking at boats and such. Also, if you don't feel like cooking check out 'fifteen tables' a scenic stroll away.

Called in for 3 nights stay. Answered by a very helpful & nice male staff. Most staffs there are nice. However during our stay, a very rude young female staff had very bad attitude towards me and showed not a bit of hospitality at all. Maybe because of my nationality? The lady might think it was funny doing the ridiculous thing I’m not gonna mention here but it’s fine. That showed the manner of the lady and her own nationality. Would have given 5 stars but this lady ruined it.

A wonderful place to stay while in Devonport. The cabins were clean and well appointed and the park itself is in a great spot. It’s not too far from town, but just far enough that you don’t get the noise. It’s a very short walk to the beach which is literally right out the front. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. They were knowledgeable about the local area and happily answered all the questions we asked. We got off the Spirit of Tasmania and they were able to organise an early check in time for us without a fuss. If I’m ever back in Devonport I will be staying with the Discovery Park again.

Everything required of a caravan park. We booked for 3 nights and extended to 6 nights. It is a quiet, well laid out park, with good amenities. A good base for exploring Devonport and the surrounding areas. We were lucky enough to catch the tulips at Table Cape. Also has access to some good walking/cycling tracks. If arriving on the Spirit of Tasmania a great start to your Tasmanian experience.
