  I am trying to be kind here. The first review sounds like a review written by the owner. The decor is tired. The specials promoted are like something from the 1950s. All greasy and miserable. This is not a gourmet food place. It is very pedestrian. Convenient yes. But what they offer is in no way contemporary. It needs Mary Queen of Shops to apply some tough scrutiny to the menu and the presentation. It coasts along only because it is in a good position. But it could be a lot better.

  Great lunch stop. The Ecco Espresso Bar is located at the Victoria Square entrance to the Iconic Adelaide Central Market. Outside along the front of the cafe is a covered, comfortable al fresco space. The decor inside is predominately black and white with plentiful tables chairs, plus high stools and benches, encompassing a large dining serving area. While sitting outside, relaxing, watching shoppers walk by we chose from their all day breakfast menu, an eco breakfast, bacon, tomatoes, toast, eggs, very satisfying. A very generous size omelette, rich and satisfying, followed by two very pleasing latte's. This conveniently situated cafe, is very popular, judges and lawyers from the Supreme Court often spotted here wearing their silks. We, along with many locals enjoyed the good service, excellent food, the busy vibe, as shoppers passed by heading into the market. The specials are worth watching out for as they are very reasonably priced and of a good size. Worth the visit.
