  I got very interested in Elements after seeing their new lifting equipment on the ground floor on Mort Street. Called to inquire on the 7th Feb, no answer, no voicemail greeting so opted for email, first response came on the 9th, didn't quite answer my question so I replied same day with a follow up question. I'm yet to receive a response (11 days and counting.) Kind of threw me off wanting to join the gym unfortunately which is a shame because the equipment in the window looks great, even if every time I walk past I see a bunch of people ignoring the equipment in favour of kettle bells :).

  Very friendly and knowledgeable staff in a relaxed atmosphere. All instructors are highly technical in their abilities but also very adept at breaking down complex techniques into simplified steps. On top of that the students are all friendly and welcoming. Nothing negative to say about this place.

  I first walked into elements with trepidation - what was a gym that was focused on a variety of Martial Arts, and Strength and Conditioning, going to be like? Well, that was three years ago and my life has completely changed. I have found a series of sports that I love in an environment that is supportive and challenging. The Professors, Coaches and Trainers at Elements are positive, have outstanding teaching practices and focus on proven, empirical and scientific methods of training. The outcomes have been enormous for me, starting at 96kg and dropping to 78kg over 12 months, while becoming stronger and fitter at the same time. Whether it is BJJ, Judo, CMD, Cap or Strength and Conditioning, I wholeheartedly recommend Elements for anyone looking for a place to train - regardless if it is for one session or for life.

  Great fun, friendly and professional environment. The BJJ classes are outstanding and with morning lunchtime classes means I can still I can get to training between my odd working hours. Highly recommended!
