  Friendly staff who greeted me immediately on arrival for my booked appointment. However the facial waxing was not done well at all. It took about 6 applications of the wax to remove a few hairs and a very long time and no moisturiser or soothing g lotion was applied at the end. I wouldn’t go back.

  people say the piercing pricing here is really bad - but I didn't really look much into that, so I wouldn't know. got my ears pierced here a few weeks ago and from memory it cost around $50 including the sterilising spray and earrings (for one piercer). I had a great experience! called them asking questions and I didn't have to wait long for a response, and whilst the booking didn't go through, they still gave me my piercing and I was in and out of there within 10 minutes :) the girls there were really lovely and helpful. my piercings are slightly asymmetrical but you don't notice unless i'm wearing big earrings and you look closely, but overall I'm very happy with them :)

  My daughter had a booking at 3:30pm for a brazilian wax, she called the store at 3:32pm (per her mobile call log) to say she was on her way and would be at the store in 2 or 3 minutes - 3:35pm. The staff member who answered the phone said they 'couldn't fit her in' - was this always meant to be a 5minute appointment? Where did the appointment time go? I called to ask how long a brazilian takes and was told 15-20minutes - if there is a 5 minute 'window' why put walk-ins before a booked appointment. At the VERY LEAST offer a standard bikini wax considering 10 - 15 minutes of the original appointment time remained (apprently this doesn't happen, a young teen has to 'ask for it,). Won't be visiting this store ever again VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I called back the woman who answered the phone said my daughter called after 3:35pm - no, she didn't, I trust the phone log over these 'professionals'. I have waited over 10 minutes plenty of times when I have arrived early or on time for an appointment so I am unsure why they were being militant nazis today.

  I just went here to get my ears pierced a couple of days ago. This place was very clean and sterile and the lady who did my ears was incredibly nice and comforting, she pierced my ears perfectly and they didn't even hurt or swell afterwards! Overall a great place and I would recommend to anyone.

  Staff was so rude to me there! Went in with my friend to get her piercing done and we were going to film it, the piercer said it wasn't allowed so we were like Ohk that's fine. So I step to the side, and as the piercer was prepping I received a message so I replied to it because I've been allowed on my phone at other essential beauties before. Anyway, the piercer was about to pierce my friend and then turns to me and goes "you need to leave the room, I can't have you filming" and I tried to explain to her that I hadn't been filming anything or taking any photos but she cut me off before even letting me speak and saying "you need to leave the room" again. It was so rude. I even got my friends to check my phone as soon as I walked out of the room, and guess what? No photos or videos from in there! I even tried contacting essential beauty Rundle mall on Facebook and they said it was my fault because I was told not to film, even though I told them that I hadn't been! I'd love to see their evidence to prove I was doing anything wrong. The Way the entire situation was handled was so unprofessional and ridiculous. From the moment we walked into the store the piercer was very cold and judgmental towards us. Most definitely will not be going there again, or probably to any essential beauty again if that's the kind of people they hire.
