  The best chips in Adelaide, fresh potatoes double fried Belgian style, i have friends who travel half way across Adelaide just for the chips.

  Friendly staff and good food. I am never let down by the quality of the fish and chips here, always has me coming back.

  Vegi Burger bland, lettuce old. Daughters chips were vile, not sure how many times they have been reheated. Wont be going back.

  Well, where to start? We saw these guys on the news and thought we'd give them a go. We have lived in the area for 15 years and not tried this local business. First time - Last time The business does not present that well and looks like a tired traditional fish & chip shop. The service was average and the prices were OK. The chips were rubbish The crumbed fish was a bit oily. Normally, on the trip home from the take-away, the temptation to open and sample the piping hot chips is irresistible. The bag is ripped open and the scalding crisp salty chips are sampled on the drive home, the ability to eat the hot greasy goodness while driving a manual in traffic is an Australian badge of honour. On this occasion, one chip was enough. They were terrible! like the chips had been in the back of the freezer since Bob Hawk was in The Hot Seat, then they had been dusted off and dropped into the fryer for a bit too long. So disappointing. My wife and daughter are hot-chip-junkies, but these were so bad, they both ended up eating left-over lasagne from the fridge. The chips were a small and scrappy looking, had a weird texture, were firm yet rubbery, no crisp, no salt,... hard to describe Also disappointing was the hygiene. Nothing irks me more than poor food handling skills. watching a slob handle cash then fresh food then more cash, then answer the phone all without gloves on or off and no hand-washing. cash & fresh food is a basic no-no. please. Did I mention the chips were rubbish? oh, and cash only??? really, this is 2015 guys. time to pay some tax, declare your income and get with the times. how inconvenient!
