  Steer clear! Claim to be a 'platinum' club yet machines were constantly out of order. Opening hours never worked with my work schedule (closed on the weekend) and very pushy sales tactics and quite overpriced, way too busy and showers were always filthy. I have been trying for over a year now to cancel mine and fiances memberships. In the last 12 months, between moving house, him, changing jobs, paying thousands of dollars on PR and priorities clearly changing and our first child on now the way, I've still continuesly on a 2 monthly basis trying to resolve this. Each time I call the head office, the previous person that I had spoken with each time is conveniently no longer working there and I'm asked yet again to send through all of our financial paperwork and proof that Im actually pregnant to yet again put things 'on hold'. There appears to be some issues internally and myself working in customer service, it is quite apparent to me that customer service is not a priority for this company.

  Friendly staff, good selection of machines. Would be better if there was a little more floor are for mats etc. during peak times when it gets pretty busy. Often at least one machine broken when I go (3 times a week). Showers are quite dirty and run down. Shampoo and conditioner are great and I recently realised there is a steam room and sauna! :D

  Girls at reception are very rude, I got yelled at twice in the last 2 weeks by the same girl. Yes she yelled at me!! When I called the manager, she didn't seem interested to hear me out and quickly finished the conversation.

  Good gym, location is very convenient for 9-5ers. Very, very busy before 7:30am and after 5pm. Nice gym to work out in during the quieter hours, but I can understand a number of reviewers frustrations; like a typical gym it has all the range of workout personalities which can be testing at times.

  I don't understand for each branch how come fitness first doesn't provide branch contact number. And the hotline it provides here doesn't help you to contact with the branch. While body fat scan machine is hard to wait. Only there's corporate event in any of the branch, so the branch will borrow inbody scan machine from head office. It's most likely only once a year the machine in store for few days. There's nothing wrong with the branch, but the head company should improve those things.
