  Attended this gym twice this week and no air conditioning. Its a platinum location and impossible to work out in here. Worst gym ever.

  Great location; Nice, clean machines, friendly reception staff, and professional instructors (I have been doing Attack). Hopefully, they would have more step classes on weekends; wished they had MORE ACCESSIBLE drinking stations besides the one in the pool area. Otherwise, a pleasant experience so far. I think the vibe is even better(less intimidating) than the Platinum gym I have occasionally been going to. I see a couple of low ratings here but i believe if every member pitches in and make sure they wipe the equipment that they use, then gym experience will be great for everyone. Again, the atmosphere is way better than the other Platinum clubs.

  Was good value-for-money when non-Platinum, as it has a pool. However, doesn't quite feel like a Platinum gym. No issues with the cardio (running/cycling) machines - enough to ensure you'll always be able to get one. Where it does fall short is in the weights/machines department, as it is quite small and limited. The limited space is also not ideal for free weights and floor exercises. Parking is also very limited and comes at a price, especially on the North Sydney council side of the road. Beware: true to form, North Sydney council will go out of their way to make a buck off gym-goers (and anyone who has the misfortune of wandering into their territory), even changing free-parking hours to catch you out. Overall, a decent place to work out, especially if you're only doing cardio/leg exercises.

  I have been a member for 2 + years. Staff don't respond to any feedback. The swimming pool is usually filthy. Doesn't get cleaned frequently and the dirt and scum are visible in all sections. Studio classes are also really dirty and dusty. I've never seen the floor being cleaned.

  All Fitness First clubs are great, but the 1 star here is for the opening hours. Before I joined I heard rumors they're becoming 24/7, but haven't happened yet. About time to catch up with the new 24/7 trend to fit the lifestyle of new generation. They will probably get more members too, so in the end it wouldn't affect them the cost of paying extra staff hours. Late night is the best time to work out, to release stress of very long days work. It's frustrating to pay for the most expensive gym in town and not be able to use it when we most need because they simply close early instead of adapting to better serve the members. About to leave them soon and join the 24/7 options like most people are doing.
