::We had an incredible day! The island is absolutely amazing. Turtles in the wild swim in the area on the right of the resort and the incredible beaches just around the corner!

::I have been on two day trips so far to Fitzroy Island and absolutely loved it! Only about 45 minutes ferry trip and we were lucky enough to spot some dolphins halfway to the island. The island is stunning - green rainforest everywhere and coral beach on one side of the jetty with soft sand on the other. I hired some snorkel gear and went for a swim at the end of the beach - heaps of coral and colourful fish everywhere. Highly recommended and Fitzroy Island would have to be one of the prettiest islands up north.
