  If you are wondering why on earth you would shop anywhere but Dan Murphy's then you haven't been to Five Ways Cellars. More than ever before I'm looking for a curated shopping experience and with wine this is more important than other purchases I make. Five Ways Cellars makes the process of getting incredible wine on any budget easy by hand selecting every bottle and being available for any advice you may need while you browse their short list of the best of the best. I've had an incredible bottle of wine from here for $12 and my most memorable bottles of more premium wine have been recommended by their knowledgable and friendly staff. If you're a local you already know about this gem, but even if you live far away, get in the car and make the trip for your next party or party of one because you won't be disappointed (which is just so unusual and refreshing these days).

  Great range of boutique wineries. The staff knows their stuff. Great tastings as well on a semi regular basis.

  Best wine shop in Sydney. Unbelievable range of much greater interest than the big chains yet in a postage stamp sized store with personal service and wonderful expertise. Give them your budget and an indication of what you'd like and have them choose a case or two to send out - have always been thrilled with what's come through. Their mailing list is great, they have wine courses, wine dinners and fabulous tastings on Saturdays. They seem pretty passionate about Italian wines and riesling. And cabernet, pinot noir, chardonnay and...........
