  Pretty good overall experience but the night we ate there they were running short on menu items & had completely run out of a few things, which was super disappointing. Friendly staff & all our meals came out in a good timeframe but a little disappointed with the menu in general. Nice venue & the overall experience was ok but not in a hurry to go back.

  The food is good, general vibe is quite fun and different and the staff were friendly enough. We had a gift voucher to spend so I had called a few days in advance to enquire if they had vegan options. They reassured me that it was no issue so we booked with the notice of one being vegan. When we got there though, they weren't aware that they had agreed on a vegan option and said it would be quite difficult. After checking with the kitchen, the waitress pointed out a few options for me and I ordered all of them. They were very filling but I do wonder if they may have had more time to be creative if they had more of a heads up. The drinks choices are quite extensive and eccentric too. We would probably go back if we were given a voucher again, but it's a bit pricey for our household.

  Service has been poor in the past but was great on this occasion. We didn't love the beer menu so opted for beer on tap which we enjoyed. We ordered multiple small meals to share. Pork Scratching was yum! In general nice tasting meals but not wowed. Love the interior and location. Plenty of room for prams and our kids were welcomed.

  This is one hidden gem. Daily changing menu, spacious venue, great service. Peter and his wife really bring a homely feel to an upmarket chic place. As for the chef, the way he made that Barramundi and paired it with a tangy Vietnamese salad - just divine. I almost ordered another one!

  First dined at 4 ponies in October 2017...food and service spot on so I took family for birthday celebrations in September 2017...food was great but service slower than slow which made our 7 course "feed me menu" uncomfortable and no longer exciting...I then returned January 2018 and once again with friends we tried the 7 course "feed me" tasting....well we could not complain about them being slow...we were at the other end of the scale...the food came too fast. We no sooner finished one course and the next one was there...no time for a drink in between...we actually asked them to slow it down a bit which did not happen. The first 3 courses were interesting and came with little salad accompaniments...then it was meat, meat, meat until an over sized macron appeared with and over sweet ball of ice cream. We're endured fatty lamb, fatty pork belly and an abundance of thickly sliced steak with not a single accompaniment!! Far too much meat to be served in such a fashion. This once again took the excitement and interest out of the meal. NOT a degustation menu as they want you to believe. Four Ponies...we have galloped off into the sunset never to be seen by you again. We have given you 3 chances...three strikes your OUT.
