The Worst customer service ever. Unfortunately for the first time I decided to buy a dining table from Freedom Southport. About 2 month ago I paid in full price for a dining table and chairs and they said delivery would be in mid May. But that delivery never happened and after many calls and speaking with the staff they send the table on 25th. Worse than that the table is faulty and legs are curved and unstable. And even worser than that the chairs are not ready!!!!!!!!!!!! They told me I should wait for another month!!!!!!!!! They didn’t even call me after 2 month to say There is one more month to get the chairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked to the shop and the only option they gave me was wait or get other floor samples which was totally different from the one I bought and with no apology. I really disappointed and never ever go back to Freedom and I let my friends and family to know about the possible perspective when you deal with Freedom Southport.

There is no personal service with Freedom once you have an issue or concern. We took delivery after a three month wait of a damaged item that was paid for three months prior in full. Freedom make you go through a lengthy claims process. If you purchase there and immediately get the product you see and take it home with you, great. But don't trust that your purchase at the time will be what you receive and be a stress free experience. Just hope you receive a perfect item. Quality control and human contact isn't part of this business. It is now nearly four months on after spending over 2 thousand dollars and still no contact from a person, nor a fully functioning item that we thought we were purchasing.

We purchased a Grand Lodge Sofa bed from this store after numerous visits and consultation from the staff at Southport Freedom. Currently, I was very happy with the service and expertise from the staff. It seemed everything was covered and to receive the lounge 14 weeks later. However, everything didn't go to plan after the delivery guys said there was no way it would fit in our elevator and into our small apartment, given the size and weight of the lounge. I immediately rang the Southport store and spoke to an extremely unhelpful Manager Kelsey, who didn't seem to think it was a reasonable thought to remind customers about measurements, lifts, and access requirements into the house or residential property. In fact, she completely put the onus on the customer despite the delivery man suggesting this happens on a regular basis. At the end of the day, all Kelsey cared about was receiving my money and didn't care about what product I end up receiving. Not a very positive attitude to hold when in a role of manager, I believe. The staff need to get their priorities right at this store and forget about talking rubbish of what goes with what colour and what material goes best with what. Rather, perhaps talk measurements and delivery limitations first with customers, in order to rule out certain models and ensure peace of mind and trust. I have been to the Logan store since and the manager there agreed that this issue of measurements etc. is discussed with priority in the initial stages of the sale in order to avoid such disappointment and wasted time. At present, I have been forced to settle for a lounge that I wouldn't have even considered had I been properly counseled beforehand. I feel as if all my consumer rights have been stripped away, and it makes me very uneasy thinking about it. I am now left with $650 of store credit, that I consider wasted money as I don't shop at Freedom, However, now I must, despite how displeased I am with how I have been treated and looked after as a customer. Lastly, I must now wait a further 17 weeks for this couch to be made, and that is a minimum, who knows how long it will take - (Who cares, apparently, I don't have a say in that either). Kelsey, I have taken this experience on board and will not make this same mistake twice. I can only hope that you take my comments on board as well, not only to improve your reputation as a store, but to do right by your customers and act upon their concerns.
