Great place to stop by and get great food or have a snack. I had lunch at the Salumi bar. Chris was awesome. Some great meats for sale at the bar with a modest selection of wine and caviar. Great place for visiting tourists. Grab some great produce and stroll down to a nearby park to have a gourmet picnic.

There's a reason this supermarket wins awards. The atmosphere is lively and it feels like a real community hub. The fresh food section is always overflowing with seasonal foods. There is a piano in the middle that entertains shoppers, free fruit for snacking in store, and often cooking displays with tastings on the weekend. Frewville Foodland is an enjoyable grocery shopping experience!

My FAVOURITE supermarket in the world. Yes it was voted the world's best supermarket and it definitely deserves it. It is so beautiful in here and it is worth shopping just for the experience. Has dedicated custom bakery, great fruit and vegetables, amazing deli, and every grocery item you'll need with a huge range of foreign foods and special need foods like gluten free, etc.

This supermarket now claims to be "The World's Best" which is rather difficult to swallow. It does have gimmicks like a piano player, organic fruit for tasting (while sitting at a rustic wooden table, reading the free newspaper), next to the freshly cooked food tasting area. Service staff now stroll the Asian food aisles, asking if they can assist. The range of fresh Asian ingredients (at good prices) is impressive. No self service checkout here - supposedly as a decision to not put staff out of work. There is a fresh juice bar, Café and coffee outlet plus separate fresh flower outlet at the far end. Overall though, I find it a bit too 'funky', employing too many 'wannabe cliches'. I go to buy specials & Asian vegetables and can't wait to get out.

Has to be the best supermarket I've ever been to. Not the cheapest but the range and quality certainly make up for the slightly higher prices. The staff and the great bakery are added bonuses. What other supermarket has a pianist and a place to read the newspaper while you eat free fruit?
