  I stay here a lot and have always had great service. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are great. I won't stay anywhere else in Townsville.

  Lovely place to stay, the staff were very efficient, welcoming and helpful. The downfall was the $250 security deposit that had to be paid along with the room fee and the fact that it will be sometime before it comes back to me. The room was beautiful and probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in. I would definitely recommend The Grand Hotel for your stay if you don't mind paying the security deposit.

  Booked into here by work, but would come here again. Staff very helpful, great to stay with kids in the 2 bedroom apartments. Heaps of restaurants right nearby

  Nice enough. Great spot for eating out. Rooms are comfortable, and it's very quiet.

  Rooms were serviceable. Staff weren't very welcoming and required full upfront payment for the room. Otherwise it was clean and there were no problems with the room. The gym is quite good too, with enough equipment to make basic workouts possible. The location is great, making it easy to access Flinders and Palmer street for nightlife and food. The strand is maybe 1km away. Don't expect a big fancy pool.
