  My 3 year old son jumped on a scooter that was on the floor assuming that it's for anyone to have a go on. A man, presumably the owner told my son off rudely "get off buddy". My son cried and he didn't seem to care. Yes it's not a toy shop but he's only 3 and this is not the first time the man has been rude.

  This shop has all the regular stuff you expect a news agent shop to have, but beyond that the staff is really helpful and sweet. On one occasion, one of the staff members (Cassie) went way out of her way to help me out with a gift wrap and wedding card that I was going to prepare and mail to my friend who had just married in the US. I was so impressed by and appreciative for how sweet Cassie was, and the way she was treating customers. On another occasion, the gentleman who works there (I should have asked for his name, too, but I was in a rush) was so helpful when I was looking for a congratulation card with some specific criteria (i.e. some really nice card that doesn't have the price printed out on the back, etc.) They treat you like you are their relative, not just a customer. And I think that's really nice.

  This is a good newsagent's shop with a wide range of stationery, cards, magazines as well as some last-minute gifts. Also a Tatts agency. And the sales staff have always been friendly.
