  We hosted a work function for 170 people at Helm Bar with a bar tab and roving canapes. It was great value for money, the event coordinator gave us plenty of options to satisfy all our requirements and it all went off without a fuss. The staff were excellent on the night and even made a special effort to ensure the food was dispersed to everyone. It was great all around.

  Ordered a beef burger with chips here and it was great! The portion is pretty huge so its really satisfying. Price is reasonable too. It took quite some time for the food to arrive, but overall this is a great place for a meal.

  Great for groups and the venue always tries hard. Good pub food, cold beers and a great view of the water. It’s a staple for team lunches as well as place to recommend to out of town visitors when they make their way to Darling harbour for a bite.

  Located in darling harbour, Helm bar is a nice spacious bar offering a good view of the harbour. The drinks are fairly priced and they have happy hours until 7pm where you can get 6$ drinks. We were a large group and they blocked an area for us and the service was pretty good. Would come back here again

  Location Location yes. We had our work Christmas party here at lunchtime. Food great staff great.... Until the dude at the bar said to several of us we had been there too long and he would not serve any more drinks. WE WERE NOT UNDER THE WEATHER. The dude was just being a X&#@ dude.
