  The staff were polite and friendly but the fact that they limit your car to 100km a day in the middle of outback Australia is ridiculous and quite stupid, If you don't fix this you won't be around much longer as one bad review leads to 100 bad reviews, you really should allow people to drive more than 100km a day as just getting from one hotel to the airport is about 30km in itself. I personally wouldn't hire a car from Hertz again after this experience, all would have been great if you had have been a little more respectful. Sorry Hertz you messed this one for my travel magazine.

  I am a Qantas frequent flyer who happens to reside in the UK. I tried to book a car here and was amazed to find that Qantas is NOT included on the airline list displayed for a FF number. The Qantas FF site recommended Hertz. Also I intend to arrive in Alice by train and the Ghan (or its parent company) are not included for possible arrival options.
