  Can I give zero stars? After waiting 7 weeks to have the edging on my carpets finished (because I wanted metal instead of plastic, how dare I) the installer turned up with no warning (his words "I did call, you couldn't answer your phone"). He was so rude and threatening that I told him that if that was his attitude he could leave, to which I got a "sounds good to me". With a baby in the house there was no way I was letting him in. He then sped out of our 60kph street at about 90. Horrendous display from an employee that is sent out to peoples homes.

  Sorry to be harsh but we had shocking service. Some of their employees need to go back to school and retake their maths exams, review Australian Consumer Law, and learn that its better to accept your mistakes than carry through with them and frustrate your customers. We were trying to get some timber flooring put down and, although they said it was possible to do, we were told by the installers that we would need to rip out more of our old floor as the job would be too difficult to do. They proceeded to charge us an outrageous price for this extra flooring which was mathematically inflated, and when we tried to negotiate, they would not budge despite the mistake being their's in the first place. Just a quick google search and I found the information suggesting that this should not have occurred under Australian Consumer Law. Just a warning for any prospective customers. I would never recommend them to anyone.

  I went to the Fyshwick store today looking for carpet for a house we are building. I was upfront straight away and told the saleslady (Phillippa) that I was only looking at this store but would be buying from the store at Batemans Bay where we are building. Phillippa was very helpful, gave great advice, showed me options after listening to what I wanted and never showed any lack of interest even though she knew I wouldn't be buying from her. Her service was excellent and she is an asset to this company. Go Phillippa!

  I just had vinyl installed in my lounge/dining room. Customer service was great, with confirmation calls and answering all my questions. Price was the cheapest of four quotes in Fyshwick and the installation was fantastic. Cleaned up afterwards and reattached folding doors. Very happy and highly recommend.

  I have recently done a large kitchen refurb which has included doing new carpet to three bedrooms (25 year old carpet replaced) - I went into the Canberra shopfront to get a quote and I was lucky enough to be helped by Alison. Her customer service was beyond 5 star treatment towards me; she was helpful and very knowledgeable; patient with me; offering suggestions and guidance to help me select the right carpet choice for my home. After getting a few quotes, even though Carpet Court was slightly higher than others, I chose to go with Carpet Court because of the service that I had received from Alison. She is a credit to the Canberra store and to the wider Carpet Court label. Thank you Alison - if you want carpet go see Alison - you wont regret it. PS: the carpet I have put into the bedrooms is amazing and so plush !!!!! thank you Carpet Court and Alison :)
