  Everytime I go here, it is brilliant! Adamo always take extra special care of his clients and it's awesome to see all the new happenings at the salon. Love this guy and his team, highly recommend!!!

  I came to hot house about 4 weeks before my wedding to get a hair cut and brighten up my usually bright red hair. I decided to go 4 weeks before just incase it wasn't what i wanted , so that i had time to fix it up! Luckily i did, because i left unfortunately really disappointed. My hairdresser felt really uninterested the whole time and barely gave me time in the beginning to show her what i wanted. Then the cut was really bad - super blunt (even though i had layers and my hair doesn't do well with blunt cuts) and none of my shorter layers were trimmed so they still all had huge amounts of split ends. The colour she used was WAY too dark and not bright like i had shown her in the beginning (i think because she wasn't listening). I loved the look of the salon and how they used vegan manic panic or so i thought as stated on their website, but when i turned up they no longer used it. Disappointed as i was hoping this would be my regular local hair salon since moving back to Geelong. I'm sure they are all lovely people that work there, but it just wasn't for me and i don't want to throw more money at it with the possibility i'll come out worse than i went in. Luckily my bridal hair stylist also cuts hair and was able to fix it for me on one of my trials. She agreed that it was probably the worst hair cut she had seen.

  Getting a haircut in the past has usually been about speed & cost but I went for a hair cut @HotHouse last week and I came out inspired. What a happy artistic fun loving bunch of guys. What I noticed most was the attention to detail & the extra grooming methods that other hair stylist don't bother with. I learned the difference between a passionate professional stylist & a hairdresser. Adamo the owner cut my hair, great host and business owner. Will be back for sure, best cut I've had.

  Ok there are so many places to get your hair done in the area but the Hot House isn't like any other. I went there for the 1st time Wednesday and WOW. I felt at home in the old church setting and it was like entering a creative space not a salon. The staff seem to love their jobs and the casual yet energetic fun environment created by Adamo is contagious. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed having my hair done so much and the mix of fun and professionalism will bring me back for sure. A great Geelong business, thanks.
