  One hour to travel 1km from airport hotel to terminal (EDIT: the hotel is actually excellent very nice room clean good value and the room service food was great - I did original review on the hop after the shuttle to get across the road took so long and was a bit grumpy after google prompted me - not the hotels or managers or staffs issue as is out of their control as they say - I have bumped up my rating and just knocked off one star because the the transit issue). Nice to have feedback on my feedback!

  Great location very close to the Sydney Airport. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and the staff very attentive to guests needs.

  ibis hotel is great. Really great rooms, comfortable beds, inviting, nice staff... But they'll just pull a fire alarm at 12am on a Tuesday night and leave you standing in the cold with no answers for 30 minutes while the fire brigade sit outside with pounding alarms going off until they finally decide to let all 150 of you back inside at once.

  The Ibis isn't too bad of a hotel. It's got your basics. Decent sized room for one or two people. Quick but small elevators. Windows that block some. Noise from the street but not all of it. No pool. Decent buffet breakfast and bar. The folks at the check in desk are good. Air-conditioning in the room is way too loud and sounds like it needs a service. Couldn't sleep with it on because it was so loud. Overall it was a decent stay but wouldn't be rushing back here. Especially at $170 a night.
