  I have found Impulse Cycles to be a very professional outfit with a staff that is both courteous and helpful. Plus, their knowledge of cycling - including EBikes - is second to none . I sincerely recommend Impulse Cycles to bike riders at all levels, whether amateur like myself or more serious. A great business!

  We limped into town with a snapped shifter cable and had our fingers crossed that we could find a good repair shop in Albany. We stopped at Impulse Cycles and within minutes Phil had the bike in the workshop and promised a quick repair. This was not a simple procedure as we are traveling with a Rohloff internal hub and our bicycles have S&S couplers so all cables have splitters. Phil, who is in the process of purchasing the shop, had seen it all before and within an hour had the cable replaced and fixed other issues that had gone unattended over the last 1000 kilometers. This included making a new 3-cable guide bracket that sits under the crank. This piece is not readily available and we were impressed that Phil could whip this up in short order. We highly recommend this bicycle shop for repairs, gear, and a great selection of bicycles.
