  The 22, 24, and 47 buses do stop here. The 138 bus does not stop here, according to Hunter Valley Buses. The seating is adequate, providing two (2) individual seats, accommodating three (3) or four (4) people to each seat. The view of the approaching buses is excellent, with the buses being visible from the point the buses turn right into King St from Steel St, all the way to the bus stop. In order to catch the 138 bus, you will need to cross King St, travel north up National Park St, and turn left at Hunter St (heading west). There is a bus stop about 200 metres west of National Park St, on the southern side of Hunter St outside of the Spotlight store. This stop is called 'Hunter St after National Park St'.
