LADIES BE CAREFUL! A friend of mine was lured out and almost pushed into a taxi by a guy. When she asked the bouncer for help, he also tried to push her into the taxi despite her repeatedly saying no and that she doesn't want to go. The guy and the bouncer appeared to know each other. Gauging from the reaction of other staff, this was not an uncommon occurrence. On another occasion I witnessed 2 girls be dumped out the back door onto the street, one unconscious, without any consideration to their wellbeing. No problem selling them alcohol not long before hand. $$$ before patrons here.

Once a month you need to bring your student ID to the club to get a sticker. Only with that sticker you can get free (student) entry. That's crazy.

Rude power tripping bouncers. Came straight from work after finishing at 12:30am, no drugs or alcohol. Bouncers said I was too drunk, then changed the story to too many drugs when I said I'd take a test. Asked me to come back later. When I did, they still gave me a hard time but eventually let me in. Decided at that point that I didn't want to be there anymore anyway.

OK I love how everyone is going after the bouncers. They do their job to a t they can't help it if they have to follow strict guidelines themselves. Alcohol is expensive GET OVER IT. Nothing stopping you from buying grog and drinking it at home. If people stop doing drugs altogether NUFF SAID. More fun for us

Poor business practice. King Street Hotel does not care about whether you have a good time or not; they only care about reeling in as many people as possible into their small, awfully smelling venue after taking your money at the door. A group of friends and myself meeting up from around the country had our birthday celebrations ruined by highly egotistical, and mentally fragile door staff. I head outside for five minutes at 11pm to put my jacket in the car and I was told I won't be let back in for 45 minutes because I've either 'had too much,' or 'I am on drugs' when neither accusations were true. We proceed to their sister club and paid entry to get into an empty venue for 45 minutes (non of us were on drugs or drunk at this club. Hmmm...). We then head back to King Street where I am still apparently drugged out, but security was fine with me driving home 2 hours high on drugs on public roads. Absolutely zero care for their patrons, and zero social responsibility. This business does not care for a strong, positive, and professional reputation. As long as people are turning 18 and handing them cover charge money they are laughing. If you are over the age of 20 I sternly advise you go elsewhere.
