Ordered the omelette, which was tasty but looked like scrambled eggs. Longish wait at table for meal after ordering. Coffee good and strong. Lovely setting. Would like to try wine night.

The croissants are so good! I usually stop by here on my way to work even though it's out of the way, and get my croissant (or 2) and coffee.

We arrived for breakfast. My girlfriend ordered muesli and a freshly squeezed juice. I ordered a latte and a big brekkie. My coffee came out almost instantly and was a good coffee. However it took about 10 minutes for my girlfriends juice to arrive. By that time my coffee was cold. As we went to breakfast together it would have been nice for our drinks to be served at the same time. My girlfriends muesli was good. However I was not fond of the big brekkie in the slightest. The bacon was over cooked, I’m not sure what was going on with the sausage. It was unlike any sausage I had ever seen. It seemed raw. I have eaten sausages in France before but never one like this. It was definitely not to my liking. I also asked for no avocado. I received avocado. All in all I believe the breakfast to be very overpriced for what you actually receive.

I have bought authentic Parisian Baguettes from La Madeleine for a few years, and they were exactly as you get in France. Today I bought a baguette, it was flat, heavy doughy, and not the large open structure that a proper baguette has. Basically it was inedible. I called the shop and the baker told me they no longer do the authentic French baguettes because they don't sell many and the previous method took too long. Quelle horreur, what is the point of baking baguettes if they aren't good. Sadly I now have to find a better baguette baker in Adelaide.

We arrived at 9pm on a Friday night hoping to get dessert after we had been for dinner. when we sat down we were asked if we could order and then sit next door in the wine bar.. I entertained the idea so went to look at the seating on the wine bar, there was one high table left.. not ideal. Then I went to order and they were out of the choc brownie for the night.. we ended up walking out. A shame really as I had been wanting to go there for a while. I won't be back
