  Beautiful spot to watch a sporting event, massive television one way and lake view the other. Staff were on point in a big way, super classy and ready for service whenever we needed something. Was really impressed and would def recommend

  Firstly, many hair left on the linen, doubt linen was changed before check in. A live cockroach above the bed was looking at us in the next morning. Secondly, free wifi should be provided as it is mentioned on the bookings. We chose the hotel can provide wifi on booking because of business needs. However, this hotel's wifi service is limited. At the beginning, the hotel insisted that our devices had issues - we have two mobiles and one pad, none of them is working. Then we been told "can not do anything about the internet" after the staff and manager tried on their mobiles. Also been told as "security reason", all Chinese websites and apps accesses are blocked. If you want to access Chinese websites and apps, well, the hotel staff is very glad to teach you how to use your own mobile data! Although hotel offered room upgrading and free meal for the second night, or refund the second night fee only if we wanna leave. We decided to leave at the end because we don't feel welcome and there is no promised service and no respect. Consumers have the right to be informed of any general information in advance, suggest Booking to make a notice about internet service limitation of Lakes resort hotel - there is no access to Chinese websites and apps. 酒店的卫生状况令人堪忧。床单上遗留有大量的可疑毛发。第二天起床看见床头有一只活的蟑螂。 由于工作上的需要，当初预定酒店时筛选条件之一就是要提供免费wifi服务，但是酒店的wifi服务是有限制的，不能用移动设备使用中文app及浏览中文网站，澳洲本土的及欧美其它的都能正常打开使用。我们确信应该是酒店的网络后台服务器设置上作了屏蔽阻挡了中文网站和app。恰好入住当天有非常紧急和重要的事情无法与中国方面沟通和处理，发现此问题后即与前台联系被告知无法解决且不知道原因，可以取消订单自行离开但不会退还已全额预付的房费。如想做进一步的沟通只能等到第二天早晨前台经理上班，因此只能被迫住了一晚。第二天早晨与当班经理沟通后告知我们可先去观光，网络的问题要核查后才能回复。下午回到酒店后询问前台原因被告知竟然说是安全原因不能上中文网页和使用中文app。我是不是可以这样理解为中国人对于这家酒店是不受欢迎的，并且是不安全的具有潜在的危害性，或者酒店里有什么类似于澳洲国防部或者国安局那样重要的信息防止被中国人偷窃? 一开始酒店方面坚称是我们的移动设备问题导致的，之后又狡辩称可以用澳洲的移动通信数据来浏览中文网站和使用中文app。我们在澳洲居住了多年从来没有碰到他们酒店这种状况，在澳洲任何开放的wifi都可以自由使用没有限制。最终酒店方面提出两个条件，要么接受房型升级和当晚免费晚餐的补偿继续入住，要么现在离开退还第二天房费。由于为此耗费了我们过多的精力和时间，也打乱了我们的行程计划，以及给我们带来精神上的创伤是无法弥补的，我们只是想要得到所承诺的服务和必要的尊重，因此决定选择离开不再继续入住。 我们想提醒中国的朋友们如果去Adelaide游玩请回避这家酒店，他们不欢迎中国人! 另外也想提醒booking网站，请在他们提供wifi服务的前提下加上备注: 使用本酒店的wifi不能浏览中文网站和使用中文app，请事先给与消费者一个合法的知情权。

  I love the Lakes Hotel, handy location right across from west lakes shopping mall. The function room, main bar, private function room & some of the accomodation have very beautiful views of the lake, I have enjoyed fantastic meals & a buffet style breakfasts in the restaurant. The staff have always been friendly and helpful too!

  Great place for a quiet dinner for two, or a catch up with some rowdy friends. Also the dining is top class, with a mix of fine dining to your authentic pub meal. The Lakes Resort Hotel, well worth the visit! 😁
