::To be honest I have had a couple of good experiences with these, BUT my last experience has been terrible. I have been waiting for weeks for a quote to make its way to me, and I have rung 3 or 4 times and sent an email in the last 10 days chasing up the quote, but NO ONE has responded. This is upsetting to me because and I have a serious gas leak waiting to be repaired and I thought I had found the best plumblers in Sydney. Alas still looking......

::Neil and Marika from Lawson Bros arrived on time and were very friendly, efficient and helpful. They were conscious of keeping my place clean and got straight on with the job. Lawson Bros. charged $100 per hour, charged at half hour increments which I thought was very good and I didn't need to bother getting other plumbers around to get quotes. Very good service and I would highly recommend them.

::Tom and his apprentice Aaron came out today to fix a widening leak in the pipe next to our water meter, which involved drilling concrete, soldering etc. They came right on time, actually on the early side, and were very pleasant to deal with. Tom explained in detail everything that needed to be done, and gave me an accurate assessment of approximately how much the job would cost up front, as well as the likely time it would take to complete. At intervals during the work Tom kept me informed about what was happening, which I really appreciated, and at the end of the job everything was cleaned up perfectly - I think they left it cleaner than it was when they started! Thank you Lawson Bros - when I need a plumber again you will be my first choice!

::WORST plumbers in Sydney! They were an hour and a half late (!!!) and didn't even call! They just turned up late and rang me and said, "We're downstairs." I said, "Do you realise you're an hour and a half late?" They simply replied, "Yeah" and didn't apologise! They left my kitchen floor filthy. Then, after they'd gone, I had no water coming out of the hot tap in my kitchen. I had to get them back by calling the boss who was equally as rude and flippant and didn't apologise for them being an hour and a half late and for leaving me with no hot water. Unbelievable.
